To serve as a preparation for the graduating students of academic year 2018, the Office of Research and Publication of Colegio de San Lorenzo convened for the 4th academic conference to improve the education and learning towards a greater career during their college week.
Colegio de San Lorenzo (CDSL) also known as “San Lo” held their semestral Career Fair at their main campus located at Congressional Avenue, Quezon City last February 23, 2018.
CDSL is a Catholic educational institution that is dedicated in providing life growth to their students and have been conducting job fair every mid-semester for the graduating students and students who seek for internship programs for their upcoming On-the-Job Training this summer.
In line with CDSL’s motto “In Ministerio Domini” which means “In the service of the Lord”, their mission is to see education not merely as a noble human activity for self-fulfillment, but also as a spiritual calling or vocation to bring the youth closer to God while serving the contemporary world.
Engr. Danilo Reyes, CDSL academic council head discussed the graduation requirements during the Career Fair 2018’s opening remarks. Engr. Reyes believes that the CDSL graduating students are ready to face the professional world as their academe provided their students professional skills, social awareness and concern with Catholic and liberal education that they can use to succeed in their respective career paths.
With over 500 graduating students this year to earn a bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Communication, Computer Science, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Psychology, and Tourism Management; sixteen exhibitors which offered both field and office-based domestic work joined Colegio De San Lorenzo Career Fair 2018, including Hallo Halo Job (HHJ) and its alliance Hallohallo Inc. (HHI), Hallohallo Entertainment Inc. (HHE), Circus International Philippines Inc., and Tavolozza Inc. who are looking for creative individuals to join their growing team in the future.
Most of the Communication and Computer Science students of CDSL were eager to join HHE as production staff and PR assistant, as well as in HHI as an account executive and graphic designer, and Circus International Philippines Inc. as web designer and programmers once they graduate this year.
Colegio De San Lorenzo is just one of the schools where HHJ participated to help students easily find a work after they graduated.
